| Take a bottle of wine and fill it with the love for your land and the emotions of the most special day of your live: this is what Maria Giulia Frova and Georg Von der Marwitz of the estate "Il Corno" actually did on their wedding day when they presented "Minna e Moro" a bright ruby-red wine, rich in berry and vanilla flavor, with hints of cocoa and tobacco.
A wine meant as a tribute to all lovers, born of a blend of "Sangiovese" and "Colorino del Corno", two vine varieties of the Estate's traditional production, which make up this elixir of love in equal parts. A very special vine is Colorino, a historical and authentic, Tuscan vine which has been neglected for a long time. However, Maria Giulia and Georg put all their love into these grapes and in 1996 they began to treat and select them specially to obtain the "superior" subcategory. "Colorino del Corno" is the fruit of this research work: a vine with its own personal character, proudly capable of distinguishing itself from the usual "Colorini" in a time when flavors are flattening out.
The exclusive label is a creation of the Florentine painter Giuliano Ghelli, a wedding gift for Maria Giulia and Georg: the rainbow is a symbol of creativity and joy; water expresses energy; Pisces and Scorpio are the star-signs of the newlyweds; the houses stand for the different roots in the same land.. and the two hearts seal the beginning of a new life together.
